MISSION AND GOALS

The Fairfax Villa PTA strives to support and advocate for our students by partnering with staff, families, and the wider community to create a safe and inclusive learning community where all students can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Together we will:

• Strengthen the relationship between students, families, and staff by fostering communication. 

• Ensure ideas and opinions are heard and valued.

• Foster a sense of community through events that bring families together and promote school pride.

• Provide support for FVES programs and staff appreciation events through purposeful fundraising.

• Encourage and organize volunteer support for school and PTA programs and events.

• Advocate for FVES families on matters that impact our school.

OBJECTIVES

The Fairfax Villa PTA is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports the Fairfax Villa Elementary School community of students, families, teachers and staff in many ways, including:

• Hosting monthly meetings to keep families, students and staff connected and updated on school information, offering a forum for open communication.  

• Hosting family-friendly evening events, such as Fall Festival, Bingo Night, Dance Party, and Heritage Night.

• Coordinating teacher and staff appreciation programs to support them and show gratitude for all they do for our students. 

• Supporting clubs and other teacher-led initiatives that contribute to a meaningful elementary school experience.

• Advocating for Fairfax Villa Elementary School.
