MISSION AND GOALS
The Fairfax Villa PTA strives to support and advocate for our students by partnering with staff, families, and the wider community to create a safe and inclusive learning community where all students can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Together we will:
Strengthen the relationship between students, families, and staff by fostering communication.
Ensure ideas and opinions are heard and valued.
Foster a sense of community through events that bring families together and promote school pride.
Provide support for FVES programs and staff appreciation events through purposeful fundraising.
Encourage and organize volunteer support for school and PTA programs and events.
Advocate for FVES families on matters that impact our school.
OBJECTIVES
The Fairfax Villa PTA is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports the Fairfax Villa Elementary School community of students, families, teachers and staff in many ways, including:
Hosting monthly meetings to keep families, students and staff connected and updated on school information, offering a forum for open communication.
Hosting family-friendly evening events, such as Fall Festival, Bingo Night, Dance Party, and Heritage Night.
Coordinating teacher and staff appreciation programs to support them and show gratitude for all they do for our students.
Supporting clubs and other teacher-led initiatives that contribute to a meaningful elementary school experience.
Advocating for Fairfax Villa Elementary School.
